A Story About Cheap Home Office Furniture

I have a really funny story about cheap home office furniture. Okay, so a friend of mine bought this desk that was on clearance from Staples. He was so excited for this desk because online, the advertising said the desk was versatile, small and compact, easy to put together, and was built for those who needed extra storage space. Plus, it only cost him about fifty dollars! Well, he bought the desk from online and when it was delivered it came in like fifteen boxes with about one hundred screws!

Not only did this desk take almost a day to put together but it was not easy at all! He stubbed his finger so many times and some of the screws didn't even fit some of the holes. So, he ended having to make some of the holes bigger and basically do so much "make-shift" type adjustments to the desk that it was lopsided when he got done putting it together. The desk was definitely not compact, it took up most of his room and he couldn't even use the "storage" space because the cabinets to the desk kept falling off of the hinges. So, if you are looking to save money-look for something INEXPENSIVE and not just CHEAP! You might just get what you pay for!
